This position requires an energetic highly motivated person with great customer service skills. This position is the first contact with new and current customers providing them with the information needed to secure job contracts with SGS Landscape Consultants, LLC. This position will continually make contact with new potential customers by sending out information on the company, visiting their offices and making phone calls to ensure they are knowledgeable in SGS Landscape Consultants, LLC and what we can provide to them as a full service landscape company. This position will also continually contact current customers in the same manner to make sure we are providing them with the best service possible. Any person interested in this position must be knowledgeable in the commercial landscape industry, able to read blueprints, highly motivated, have previous sales experience with references in previous held sales positions, a knowledge of Goldmine (sales software) and be a team player.
This position supervises five to six laborers on the jobsite making sure that all landscape is installed as per the plans provided and that the job is completed in a timely manner. This position makes sure that SGS Landscape Consultants, LLC is providing quality products and services while on the jobsite. The Superintendent will make sure that all workers are safe and are complying with OSHA and SGS Landscape Consultants, LLC’s safety regulations. The person in this position must be able to read blueprints, have a knowledge of plant material and previous landscape installation experience, have a valid driver’s license, be bilingual, work well with others and be a team player. Travel is required.
This position works closely with his crew members installing plant material, trees, sod, irrigation, etc., as needed for the job. Previous landscape/irrigation experience and some material knowledge is preferred. This position works in a timely manner to meet deadlines and provides quality installation in the process. A valid driver’s license and experience on equipment (bobcat, trencher, etc.) is a plus. Travel is required.
