SGS Landscape Consultants, LLC Warranties
Our Promise to you is reflected in the warranty we extend. Our warranties minimize your level of risk as well as offer a valuable benefit that you can pass on to your customers. We are committed to these warranties and want you to know that we will correct any problems even when the issue is questionable. Our new warranty policy has been developed in hopes of streamlining communication between SGS Landscape Consultants, LLC and our client, when handling warranty and repair issues.
One Year Replacement Warranty – If reasonably significant plant degradation has occurred, and provided that adequate irrigation was supplied to the landscaped area in question* and landscaping occurred within one (1) year of the issue, we will replace all affected areas at no material or labor charge to you.
Three Year Replacement Warranty – Our 3 year warranty covers trees, shrubs, and groundcover, provided that SGS or another professional company maintains the installation for the 1st year and irrigation is active.
*Note- Unless you have contracted with us to provide irrigation and maintenance, it is the owner’s responsibility to provide water to the plant material immediately after installation and beyond. We cannot be held responsible for the death of plant material due to the lack of water or maintenance on the owner’s part. This also includes operating within extreme drought conditions which are considered “Acts of God”. In the event that we install your irrigation system but are not contracted to do the maintenance work, it is the owner’s responsibility after the new system is installed to readjust the sprinkler heads, repair stuck valves and maintain various time adjustments on the units. It is the owner’s responsibility to maintain the irrigation system and the automated clock, which is necessary to give the plant material the best chance of flourishing. Training will be provided by SGS Landscape Consultants, LLC when requested.
